February 22nd - Kristin and Joanna relaxing at the bookstore. Aren't they so cute?!
Mommy Capra nervous about the girls almost falling into the koi pond
Our cute little cheese muffin - Kristin
With the help of Netflix and Jason's night shift work, MomEE and I spent most of our nights watching a lot movies and ingesting a lot of popcorn, M&Ms and diet soda.
March 1st - Jason's brother Mike and cousin Mark drove 8 hours down from Oklahoma to visit us, his MomEE and the newest Capra male. We celebrated with drinks, snacks and games.
Two things Jason loves - an audience and a camera. ;)
Joanna helping Kristin and Katie on the helicopter ride
Our 3 little cuties getting scrubbed down. This was Caleb's 1st real bath. Why does Katie's head look SO huge?! :)
Hooray! An unexpected package of gifts from my friend Marigold! I love surprises!!
Okay - that's it! I'm done! This picture will have to do! I can't wait any longer to get these announcements out! When does the book of etiquette say it's too late to send out birth announcements? 6 months? 1 year? What? ;)
My little cutie
Jason's little cutie of a sister - Joanna (a.k.a. Bean - short for String Bean) ;) I can't believe she's almost 14! I met Jason just a couple months before she was born!!! How has that much time gone by??!!
Back in the day (a month ago to be exact) when Caleb's days only consisted of milk consumption and lots of sleep...the good ol' days... ;)
Intermission: On February 25th we found out that Jason was selected (along with 3 of his colleagues) to be chief resident. Yay Jason!!!!!! That's my big head boy!!
March 1st (10 days old) - Trying to get a good picture of the boy for birth announcements - to no avail.
Kristin and her Aunt Joanna all dressed and ready to start the production of their next movie called "Jazzercise" in theaters this summer. :) Click here to view the crazy youtube clip where they got their inspiration. Hahahaha!!! 1982 was not a good year for the exercise industry!! ;)
Warning: These pictures may be frightening to young children and may cause irritable bowel syndrome in otherwise healthy adults. ;)
March 3rd - Unfortunately, this was the day I had to drive Mommy Capra and Joanna to the airport, so they could get back home. I was so sad to see them go and I've been busier ever since! Their two weeks here went by way too fast!! :( We miss you!!
Books for the girls, temporary tattoos for Jason (how did she know Jason would enjoy these?), hand soap for overworked Mommy (are you trying to tell me I'm not clean enough Mar?), and cute little hand-sewn booties for Caleb (I love that they have a Hawaiian print on the bottom of them - since Jason was in Hawaii when Caleb was born). I wonder if that was intentional... ;)
Jason went on to apply several more temporary tattoos to his arms and chest and then a few on Katie. If I had known that he'd like these things so much - I would have got him some for his birthday instead of spending all that money on a new computer!! ;)
Diaper buddies: Katie spending some time with her little brother.
She really does seem to enjoy him for the most part (despite the few times I've caught her trying to sit on his head, cover his mouth and pinch his cheeks). ;)
He loves his burp time with Daddy!
March 15th - Sea World is open again! We got our new season passes, so we're back to spend our weekends with Shamu!
Kristin and Katie with the dolphin character (you'd think after 2 1/2 years I'd know her name). Arent' they cute???!!! I just want to pinch them both!!!! Why can't they smile like this for family pictures?! Maybe I should just photoshop mine and Jason's heads in there and send it out with our Christmas cards next year!! ;)
Katie has a hard time walking away. It's funny - she walks away without even glancing back at us when we drop her off at either sunday school or at the gym nursery. Little traitor!! ;)
That's all for now. I'd stay and ramble on and on like I usually do, but Caleb has been screaming in my ear for the last 10 minutes and I can't ignore him anymore!!! What happened to all my free time??!! It appears to be non-existent these past few weeks! Oh well...this little boy is worth it. He's cute. He amuses me. I think I'll keep him. ;)
