Houston, we have a problem...I'm behind again...

Hello everybody! So it has almost been a month since I wrote last. No surprise there. I wanted to get on this thing and catch up before my parents get here! They're on their way from Washington State to come visit us and meet Caleb for the first time! They're also bringing along my Grandma (who is almost 84 years old)! What other Grandma that age would torture herself with such a horrendously long drive - just so she could meet her newest great grandchild?! She is way too sweet! I just want to pinch her!! Anyways - they should be here in a few hours. Did I mention they left 3 days ago? Is that horrible or what? They have to stop every couple hours to get my Grandma out of the car. Ugh. That's way too long a trip just to come visit little ol' me! ;) But hey! I'm worth it! Or so I've heard... ;)

Oh! Before I get started on all the pictures - I have some big news!! NO!!! We're not pregnant again! Are you crazy?! What do you think I am? Some kind of animal?!!! ;) Kristin and I finished up our first year of homeschooling!! Kristin is now officially done with Kindergarten!! Hooray!! Summertime here we come!! We have big plans for the summer - mostly for Kristin (little spoiled girl). Some online reading and math lessons, gymnastics, soccer, piano lessons, swimming, zoo, aquarium, children's museum, gym time (for me), bible study (for me) and our usual summertime destination...SeaWorld. I'm also considering putting Katie in a ballet class (at Kristin and my old ballet school). She really wants to do gymnastics with Kristin, but they only have a mom/tot class for kids under 3 and I can't do it with her now that I have that Caleb kid. ;) I'm hoping we make the best of our free time (now that we don't have any school lessons to do). I'm really hoping I don't end up lazing around everyday and wasting the summer away!! Somebody please!! Hold me accountable!!! :)

Okay - enough of that! On to the pictures!!

Before we left Houston, we made sure to visit the Space Center

Jason and Kristin playing in the Kids Space Place

More moon-landing scenery...

A moon rock for us to touch

Some history on the moon rock

Jason and the girls testing out their strength on other planets (depending on gravity)

Jason would make one crazy-looking astronaut... :)

Kristin and Katie's favorite place at the Space Center

Me and the boy (who snoozed the day away)

The nose of an old space shuttle

Kristin and Katie next to the space shuttle's cockpit

Me and the kids in front of the cockpit

Katie hitching a ride on Mommy's leg because she's too lazy to walk down the stairs herself. ;)

My little monsters

On our way out after our visit was stopped short from hurricane winds/flooding outside... We ended up missing the one thing I really wanted to see (the tram tour - a peek behind the scenes of NASA at the Johnson Space Center).

A McDonald's a couple blocks away from the Space Center.

I wish we had picked another day to go to the Space Center because not only did we miss out on the tram tour (because of the weather), but we also risked being whisked away in all the flooding on our way back to the apartment!! Jason was pretty good at finding ways around all of the worst roads. We drove by a few cars that were half under water!!! Houston has some crazy arse weather - that's for dang sure!! At least we know how much our Highlander can handle when it comes to deep waters!!

Later that night, Kristin was overly excited to have made Caleb a small crown which she proudly propped up on his little head. We laughed and laughed...he didn't seem to mind... :)

Kristin, Katie and Caleb (Katie wasn't as willing to cooperate)

A few days later we stopped by this huge wall waterfall by the Galleria mall after going to Joel Osteen's church. It was great! I don't know why the heck it's there or who put it there, but we liked it!

Our cute little Kristin-poo

Me and our little man (he isn't easily impressed) ;)

I want one of these in my backyard! :)

Hello!

Kristin's latest puzzle (she's super motivated to finish puzzles by herself - now that she knows she's younger than the age listed on the box) :)

Caleb doing what he does best - lazing around with a big smile on his face

Caleb was really excited about our stop to Buc-ee's on our way back to San Antonio (they actually had some REALLY good beef jerky)!

It's bath-time!! "Hey! No peeking at my nether region!!" ;)

My three big headed cuties

We got back to San Antonio just in time for Kristin's gymnastics team to receive their leotards. She was SO excited! She has been talking about getting her leotard for over a month!!

Our little cutie smiling as usual

Okay - I have to get going!!! This has taken longer than it should have! My parents will be here in about 20 minutes! I need to run around and pick up the house, so it appears as though I'm perfectly perfect and have everything under control!! I'll try to get on here sooner, but it'll most likely be another 2 weeks before you get anything more out of me. My parents will be here for one week to visit and then we're off to Disneyland for Jason's week of leave. Yay!!
